The Diagnostic Centre provides laboratory and imaging services that are accessible, cost effective, seamless, timely and accurate.
Our Services
Clinical Laboratory
A comprehensive list of basic tests is available at the on-site laboratory that will enable results to be available within one hour. This will enable our clinicians to have access to the results within the same consult and enable more efficient patient management. The centre is able to accept more complex and esoteric tests, which will be sent to laboratory at NHG tertiary institutions. These laboratories are both CAP (College of Pathologist) and JCI (Joint Commission International) accredited.
Laboratory tests available include:
- Rapid response
- Off-site test
- Spirometry test
Imaging
The Computerized Radiography (CR) system allows X-ray images to be captured digitally. Together with a complete centralized Picture Archive and Communication system (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS), the referring clinician at JMC will be able to view patients’ images from the computer’s monitor via a web-based programme. With this, there will be no printing of hardcopy films and negate the need for patients to carry large stack of films from one point to another.
The use of digital technology has also enabled the use of teleradiology where images are sent immediately to the reporting radiologists via the network and enable reports to be available within one hour.

化验与X光中心
我们的化验与X光中心为广大病人提供方便、经济实惠、专业准确和高素质的检验与放射科服务。
我们的服务
化验室
中心内的化验室提供一系列全面的基本检验，并能够在短短一个小时之内，取得检验报告。
这样一来，医生就能更快速地为病人施诊下药。中心也可以接受复杂和精准的检验要求，并把要求转给全国保健集团属下的大专院校的化验室进行化验。这些化验室都获美国病理学家学会 (College of American Pathologists, CAP) 以及国际联合委员会 (Joint Commission International, JCI) 认证。
发射线影像
我们的电脑化发射影像系统能够以数码捕捉X光影像。连同一套完整的中央影像图片档案库与传播系统以及放射科资讯系统，医生能够在电脑屏幕上看到病人的放射影像图片。这样一来，就能打破传统，做到‘无片化’的境界，也省却了病人带着庞大放射图片到处走动的麻烦。
我们采用的数码科技使到图片影像能够通过网络即刻被传送到执勤的放射师，好让他们在一个小时内做好检验报告。
